Welcome

At Cedar Springs Learning Center, we believe children learn best when they're given room to explore, create, and discover at their own pace. Our Waldorf-inspired approach blends rich academics with art, movement, and time outdoors, all set against five wooded acres in the Sierra Foothills.

We welcome children for a four-day, in-person program running Tuesday through Friday. For the 2026-2027 academic year, we're offering two Kindergartens, First through Sixth Grade, and Eighth Grade, with afternoon enrichment programs.

Our grades program includes Waldorf-inspired Main Lesson, Math and Science, Language Arts, History and Geography, Drawing and Painting, Drama and Music, Gardening, Movement, Animal Husbandry, Woodworking, and more.

Whether your child is just starting kindergarten or you're looking for a grades program that nurtures both mind and character, we invite you to visit and see what makes Cedar Springs different.

From Our Families

"We are so grateful to be part of the Cedar Springs community. Our children are excited to learn because education comes alive through storytelling, art, music, nature, and hands-on experiences that spark curiosity and joy. Just as meaningful has been the incredible community we’ve found. The friendships, shared traditions, and genuine support among families create a place where both children and parents feel they belong. Cedar Springs nurtures not only strong learners, but kind, creative, and confident human beings, and we are so grateful to be part of it."

— Erin M., Parent of a 3rd Grader at CSLC

Our Campus

Five Acres of Room to Roam

Our 5-acre wooded campus hums with life: rambling gardens to tend, greenhouses to explore, and chickens and goats to care for. Three play yards, an amphitheater, an open field, and warm, creative classrooms round out a place built for childhood.
